Recovery of overpayments from the pensionary benefits of retired employees in Punjab Circle.

The recovery of overpayments made to the officials while on service, is being recovered from their pensionary benefits on retirement is continuing in Punjab Circle even now. BSNLEU Punjab Circle and BSNLEU CHQ has brought this irregularity, both at Circle and Corporate Office levels, which is against the orders of the Supreme Court but no action, has been directed by Corporate Office to stop the recoveries immediately. Com. Animesh Mitra, President, Com.Gundanna C K and Com.Sisir Roy met the Sr.GM (Establishment) today and discussed the matter in depth and registered our dissatisfaction. Sr.GM (Establishment) assured us to look into the matter seriously.
