Recovery of employee contribution of EPF from the backdate – violation of the order of the EPF Organisation – BSNLEU writes to the CMD BSNL

Employee contribution of the EPF cannot be recovered from the backdate, as per the order of the EPF Organisation. However, a big amount of Rs.4,26,620/- is being recovered from the salary of Com.Manoj Sharma, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. This amount is being recovered in the guise of GPF amount. This is violative of the order of the EPF Organisation. BSNLEU has written letter to the CMD BSNL today requesting to stop this recovery.
