Provide Compassionate Ground Appointments to the dependents of Covid victims and the employees who died in accidents while on duty.

BSNLEU is continuously demanding the Management to remove the ban imposed on Compassionate Ground Appointments. BSNLEU wants  Compassionate Ground Appointments to be given immediately to the dependents of all the employees who died due to Covid-19. BSNLEU is also demanding that, Compassionate Ground Appointments should be provided to the families of the employees who died in accidents while on duty. The last letter on this issue was written to the CMD BSNL, by BSNLEU on 21.04.2022. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS and Com.John Verghese, Dy.GS, met Shri P.K. Purwar, CMD BSNL, today and once again urged upon him to lift the ban on Compassionate Ground Appointments. During the discussion, the CMD BSNL stated that, he was willing to consider appointment to the dependents of those employees who died at the time of performing duty. BSNLEU will continue to pressurise the Management to lift the ban on Compassionate Ground Appointments.
