Problem arisen in applying Rule 8 transfer by DR JEs – BSNLEU writes to the PGM(Estt.), BSNL CO.

BSNLEU is continuously taking up the problems being faced by the DR JEs, in applying for and getting transfer under Rule 8. In one such case, BSNLEU has written letter to the PGM(Estt.) BSNL CO. In this case, a DR JE applied for Rule 8 transfer to a Shortage circle. However, the circle has become a Surplus circle thereafter. Consequent to this, the DR JE is unable to get the transfer. BSNLEU has written letter suggesting that, the DR JE should be considered for Rule 8 transfer to some other Shortage Circle, by retaining the date and seniority of his earlier transfer application.
