Heeraben, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother, passed away early morning today. She was 99. Heeraben lived with PM Modi's younger brother, Pankaj Modi, at Raysan village near Gandhinagar. “My mother used to wash utensils at a few houses to help meet the household expenses”, the Prime Minister wrote, recounting the early days of his family’s hardships.
