Non-receipt of inputs from CGM offices on two important staff issues - circle secretaries are requested to immediately do the needful.

CHQ is pursuing two important issues related to the officials who are granted with Temporary Status prior to 01-10-2000.

1. The first case is granting of 1st promotion on completion of 4 years to the RMs, who were conferred with Temporary Status prior to 01-10-2000. This demand is raised by BSNLEU, based on court judgement.

2. The second case relates to the officials who were conferred with Temporary Status prior to 01-10-2000, and who directly became Telecom Mechanics.

Both the cases were raised in the National Council, and the Management has agreed to resolve them. However, these cases are lying pending with the Corporate Office, since many of the CGMs have not provided the inputs, which have been called for. Hence CHQ calls upon the circle secretaries to immediately discuss these issues with their respective CGMs, and arrange to send the required inputs within two weeks. All circle secretaries are also requested to give intimation to the CHQ in this regard.
