Non-declaration of the JTO LICE results in Punjab circle – BSNLEU holds serious discussion with the PGM(Estt.), Corporate Office..

Non-declaration of the JTO LICE results is a serious problem, affecting the promotions of DR JEs in Punjab circle. BSNLEU is taking all out efforts to resolve this issue at the earliest. As a part of this, a meeting is held in the Corporate Office, with Shri Saurabh Tyagi, PGM(Estt.). Shri V.K. Sharma, DGM(Estt.-II), was also present. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS and Com.Anil Kumar, DR JE, Mohali (Punjab), participated in this discussion. The representatives of BSNLEU explained about the hardships being suffered by the DR JEs in Punjab circle, due to the non-declaration of the JTO LICE results. The PGM(Estt.) explained that, the results could not be declared due to an order issued by the Hon’ble Punjab High Court, linking this issue with the case going on in the Hon’ble Supreme Court. He also told that, the Management has already filed a petition (MA) in the Court, seeking permission for the declaration of the results, but it has not come up for hearing. The PGM(Estt.) told that, the next date of hearing is 23.01.2023 and that all out efforts would be taken to get the result. Certain other steps to resolve the issue at the earliest, were also discussed.
