New Privacy Policy - CAIT demands the ban of WhatsApp and Facebook.

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), in a letter written to the Information and Technology Minister, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, has demanded that the government should restrict Whatsapp from implementing it’s New Privacy Policy, or impose a ban on WhatsApp and it’s parent company Facebook. The CAIT claimed that through the New Privacy Policy, all kinds of personal data, payment transactions, contacts, locations and other vital informations of a person, who is using WhatsApp, will be acquired and it can be used for any purpose by WhatsApp.
