Meeting between AUAB and the CMD BSNL.

As per the decision taken in yesterday's meeting of the AUAB, the leaders of the AUAB met Shri Anupam Shrivastava, CMD BSNL, today. Com.P.Abhimanyu,GS, BSNLEU, Com.Chandeswar Singh, GS, NFTE, Com.Padmanabha Rao, AGS, SNEA, Com.Ravi Shil Verma, GS, AIGETOA, Com.Mallikarjuna, President, BSNL MS, Com.Revti Prasad, AGS, ATM and Com. H.P.Singh, Dy.GS, BSNL OA attended the meeting. The leaders expressed their deep anguish to the CMD BSNL, about the non-implementation of the assurances given by the Hon'ble MoS (C), on wage revision, pension revision, pension contribution and allotment of 4G spectrum to BSNL. The leaders demanded the CMD BSNL to arrange a meeting between the AUAB and the Secretary, DoT. A letter of the AUAB in this regard, was also handed over to the CMD BSNL. Detailed discussion took place between the leaders and the CMD BSNL, on all the issues. The meeting lasted for 50 minutes. The leaders expressed their deep concern that time was running out fast, and that expeditious actions need to be taken to settle the wage revision without delay. On the issue of Superannuation benefits of the DR employees, the leaders demanded that expedtious action should be taken to increase Management's contribution to the Pension Fund. On all the issues, the CMD BSNL shared the concern of the leaders and assured to take necessary action.
