Massive demonstration in West Bengal against non-payment of wages and retrenchment of contract workers.

Wages are not paid to the contract workers for the past so many months. In addition to this, the BSNL Corporate Office has issued letter to retrench the contract workers throughout the country, as a cost cutting measure. Against these, massive demonstration was organised in front of the West Bengal CGM office at Kolkata, by the BSNL CCWF. Com.Animesh Mitra, SG, addressed the gathering.
