Management proposes to conduct the 10th Membership Verification through a new process – BSNLEU conveys its stand to the Management based on the decision of the last online CEC meeting.

The Corporate Office has proposed a new method for conducting the forthcoming 10^th Membership Verification, based on the membership data available in the ERP system, instead of following the traditional secret ballot system. The Management has sought the views of all unions in Non-Executive cadre, including BSNLEU, on this proposal. BSNLEU discussed the matter in detail and with seriousness in the online CEC meeting held on 13.11.2025. The CEC members expressed their preference for conducting the Membership Verification through the secret ballot system. However, considering the present financial condition of BSNL, it was decided that BSNLEU may accept the Management’s proposal as a one-time measure. Accordingly, the decision taken in the CEC meeting has been communicated to the Management for consideration.
