Management is singing the old song - Get prepared for serious struggles to settle Wage Revision.
As is already informed, a meeting of the Wage Negotiating Committee was held yesterday the 10.06.2022. We are demanding Wage Revision with 5% fitment. However, the Management is singing the old song. They are telling that, being a loss-making company, the employees of BSNL or not eligible for Wage Revision, as per the recommendations of the 3rd Pay Revision Committee. (3rd PRC). The whole country knows that, BSNL has become a loss-making company, not because of the employees, but only because of the policies of the government. Hence denying Wage Revision to the employees, on the plea that the Company is running into loss, is nothing cheating. Under these circumstances, the Wage Negotiating Committee meetings have become an empty formality. Meetings are taking place, but result is not coming. Now, the employees must realise that, Wage Revision with 5% fitment cannot be settled without serious struggles. The AUAB has given call to organise Twitter Campaign on 14.06.2022 and also to submit Memorandums to the Hon’ble MPs and Hon’ble Ministers. The AUAB will intensify it’s struggles if the Management does not come forward to settle the Wage Revision issue. Under these circumstances, BSNLEU urges upon the employees to realise the gravity of the situation and implement all the calls of the AUAB massively. Make the ‘Twitter Campaign’ and ‘Submitting of the Memorandum’ a grand success. Get prepared for serious forms of struggles to settle Wage Revision.
