Lack of transparency in the selection of coaches by the Corporate Office..

BSNLEU is repeatedly writing to the Management stating that, there is no transparency in the nomination of coaches for various sports meets. In 2011, the Admn. Branch of the Corporate Office called for nominations for coaches. In that letter, it is categorically mentioned that only “qualified coaches” will be given preference. However, the selected list of coaches has never been circulated. In the meanwhile, qualified coaches are being ignored and coaches for sports meets are being nominated on the basis of “pick and choose” method. BSNLEU has already written to the PGM (Admn.), BSNL CO., in this regard. Since no action has been taken, BSNLEU has written letter to the Director (HR) today on this matter.
