Joint Committee meeting on payment of PLI, to be held in the first week of January, 2018.

Consequent to the protest demonstration conducted by BSNLEU on the PLI issue, meeting was held between the Director (HR) and the two Recognised Unions on 16-10-2017, wherein, it was decided to constitute a joint committee to decide about the quantum of PLI to be paid. However, the joint committee is still not constituted. The GS and Dy.GS met shri Ashutosh Gupta, GM (Restg.) today, and insisted to hold the joint committee meeting without further delay. After discussion, it was agreed to conduct the meeting in the first week of January.
