Issuing Presidential Orders to the employees recruited by the DoT, prior to 01.10.2000, but whose appointment is made after 01.10.2000 – expeditious disposal of the SLP filed in the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

In the Formal meeting held on 14.01.2020, BSNLEU has already taken up with the Director (HR), the matter of issuing of Presidential Orders to the employees recruited by the DoT prior to 01.10.2000, but whose appointments were made after 01.10.2000. Even though favourable judgements are already given by a number of CATs and High Courts, BSNL has filed an appeal in the Hon’ble Supreme Court. BSNLEU has requested to the Director (HR) in the above mentioned meeting, to ensure needful action for the expeditious disposal of the case in the Hon’ble Supreme Court. The Director (HR) has assured to do the needful. Com.P.Abhimanyu, Com.Swapan Chakraborty, Dy.GS and Com.John Verghese, AGS, met Shri A.M.Gupta, GM(SR), yesterday, and urged upon him to implement the assurance given by the Director (HR). The GM(SR) assured to take needful action.
