Introduction of National Pension System (NPS) in respect of BSNL recruited employees – Management decides to seek opinion from the recognised unions and associations.

BSNL Management has decided to introduce the National Pension System (NPS) for BSNL recruited employees, replacing the existing superannuation pension fund with LIC of India. It was discussed with the leaders of unions and associations on 25^th August, 2025 and the Corporate Office has formed a Committee to examine the pros and corns of the new system. The Management has shared documents on NPS salient feature from LIC and HDFC Pension Management Ltd. A letter has also issued to the unions and associations for their opinions on this subject.
