Intervention of the JE cadre in high responsibility role in FTTH Segment as BBM without consent of officials – Strong protest by BSNLEU and letter to Director (HR), BSNL.

BSNLEU has strongly protested against the practice of assigning higher responsibilities of executive cadres to the Non-Executive Junior Engineer cadre without their consent. It has come to the notice of the CHQ that the administration in several circles is assigning duties and responsibilities meant for executive cadres such as JTOs and SDEs to officials in the JE cadre. Recently, it has also been reported that Junior Engineers are being forcibly entrusted with the role of BBM (BharatNet Business Manager) in the FTTH segment.
