Implementation of Group Health Insurance Scheme in BSNL - Useful information to the members of the scheme.

A Group Mediclaim Policy has been implemented in BSNL, in tie-up with the Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. A large number of employees have joined the Group Mediclaim Policy. Now, clarifications are being sought with the CHQ, regarding the method to obtain the Group Health Insurance Card and other related information. In this connection, the CHQ wishes to provide the following information.

1. The employee has to download the following mobile app link.

2. Thereafter the employee has to log into this link for which login ID will be his / her PERNR No. (HRMS No.). 
3. The password will be the date of birth of the employee in the DD/MM/YYY format.
4. However, while entering the ID and password the employee should not prefix 0/00/000/0000 since the system will not accept. For example, if the PERNR No. of an employee is 0080XXXX, the employee has to type his ID as 80XXXX.
5. The following links may be accessed to find out list of hospitals, form for claiming cashless treatment & reimbursement, checklist of documents for claiming reimbursement, etc.
