LTC facility is being denied to BSNL employees for the past 12 years. Initially, this facility was frozen for two years. However, despite repeated demands by BSNLEU, as well as the Joint Platform of the Unions and Associations, the Management has not reviewed the decision. At the same time, the BSNL Management is adopting a double standard in the matter of allowing LTC. While LTC facility is being denied to the absorbed BSNL employees, the Management is allowing the same to the employees who are working in BSNL on deputation from the DoT. BSNLEU has written letter to the CMD BSNL today, strongly demanding to restore the LTC facility to the absorbed BSNL employees also.
