Holding the JTO LICE with posts available as on 31.01.2020.

BSNLEU is consistently demanding that the JTO LICE should be held on 07.08.2022, with the posts that were available as on 31.01.2020. This issue is once again discussed with the Director (HR) yesterday. Com.Suresh Kumar, GS, SNATTA and Com.Himanshu Jha (CHQ-SNATTA) were also present during this discussion. BSNLEU explained in detail, how the Management is discriminating between the Executives and the Non-Executives in the matter of promotions. It was strongly demanded that the JTO LICE should be conducted with the posts that were available as on 31.01.2020 and also the examination should be conducted based on year wise vacancies. In reply to this, the Director (HR) stated that, to address the problem of non-availability of vacancies in 11 circles, as well as less number of vacancies in 9 circles, the Management will conduct one more JTO LICE, by diverting 50% of the DR quota posts of the year 2021. He also stated that, this special examination will be conducted soon after the JTO LICE to be held on 07.08.2022. He also stated that candidates of all circles can appear in this exam. BSNLEU, as well as the leaders of the SNATTA insisted that the problem could be solved only by holding the JTO LICE, to be held on 07.08.2022, with the posts available as on 31.01.2020.
