Historic two day strike started.

The historic two day strike called on by “All Unions and Associations of BSNL” successfully started at 00:00 hrs. today. As per the reports received by the CHQ, the strike is total, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The Non-Executives and Executives of BSNL have joined en masse in this strike. All the 13 unions and associations, which have served the strike notice, are firmly in the strike. However, it is learnt that some “letter pad unions” have given letter to the Management, stating that they were not joining the strike. CHQ calls upon the circle and district unions to maintain close coordination with all the striking unions and associations, to make the strike a historic success.
