Good bye 2018 and welcome 2019..

The year 2018, which has seen massive mobilisations of the BSNL employees under the banner of the AUAB, is coming to an end within the next few hours. In this year, we have successfully stopped the attempts of the government to break BSNL to pieces, by forming the Subsidiary Tower Company. Similarly, we have waged struggles against injustices in the matter of 3rd Pay Revision and the viability of BSNL. As a result, we have achieved substantial gains in ensuring allotment of 4G spectrum to BSNL, and implementation of government rule in Payment of Pension Contribution. We have also succeeded in forcing the government to agree for the delinking of Pension Revision of the retirees, from the Pay Revision of the serving employees. Certainly, our struggles will continue more vigorously in 2019, to settle the 3rd Pay Revision and to get justice for BSNL. With this positive note, let us bid good bye to 2018 and welcome 2019.
