Get prepared for a prolonged indefinite strike - Chairman and Convenor of the AUAB call upon the employees.

The decision of the AUAB, to go on an indefinite strike, was announced by the Chairman and Convenor of the AUAB, in the meeting held in the Parliament Street, at the end of today’s rally. Both the leaders called on the employees to get prepared for a prolonged indefinite strike, which may continue for a longer period. Com. P. Abhimanyu, Convenor, AUAB, pointed out that the BSNL employees are capable of going on prolonged strike. For example, he pointed out that the telecom employees went on a 21 day strike from 3^rd November,1990. Similarly, the strike which starts on 3^rd December, 2018, will also be a prolonged one, said the Convenor. Com. Chandeshwar Singh, Chairman, AUAB, urged upon the employees to get prepared to undergo wage loss for many days, for ensuring a better future through wage revision and pension revision.
