Do not treat the Non-Executives with step-motherly attitude - BSNLEU writes letter to the CMD BSNL.
Mobile handset cost is being reimbursed to the Executives. The Non-Executives are also extensively using their personal mobile handsets to promote sales and marketing and also for involving in other activities. Hence, BSNLEU has demanded that mobile handset cost should be reimbursed to the Non-Executives also. BSNLEU raised this issue by writing letter to the CMD BSNL on 08.05.2024. Thereafter, twice, BSNLEU has written letter to the Director (HR) on 19.11.2024 and 24.04.2025. However, Management has said that mobile handset cost cannot be reimbursed to the Non-Executives. Recently, Management has approved laptops to the Executives up to JTOs. BSNLEU is not against providing any facility to the Executives. But, Management should not treat the Non-Executives with step-motherly attitude. BSNLEU has strongly raised this issue with the CMD BSNL in the letter written today and has demanded that, mobile handset cost should be reimbursed to the Non-Executives.
