Do not retrench contract workers – militant struggle in Cuddalore district.

Even without making payment of their wage arrears, which is not paid for the past one year, the BSNL Management is mercilessly retrenching the contract workers, through mindless outsourcing. Contract workers went on a militant struggle yesterday at Cuddalore SSA in Tamil Nadu circle. Many contract workers together with Com.K.S. Sambandham, District Secretary, BSNLEU, Cuddalore district, were taken into police custody by the police, for peacefully agitating at the General Manager's office in Cuddalore.
