Details of Wage Revision Committee meeting held today.

A meeting of the Wage Revision Committee is held today. The Management Side took the stiff position that, only the short pay scales offered by them in November, 2022 will be implemented. They stated that, the pay scales proposed by the Staff Side in February, 2025 were not acceptable. Serious discussions took place on the issue of the new pay scales. The Staff Side members told that finalisation of the Wage Revision agreement is getting abnormally delayed and requested the Management to co-operate in reaching early settlement of the Wage Revision. On the issue of pay scales, the Staff Side made the final demand that, at least the pay scales in which anomalies are arising should be modified. Further, it was demanded that, the fitment should be at least 5%. The Management Side members assured that the demands raised by the Staff Side would be discussed with the higher authorities. Both the Unions and the Management Side agreed that, the Wage Revision agreement should be signed without further delay. Hence, it is decided that the next meeting would be held on 14.07.2025. After this meeting, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, BSNLEU and Com.Chandeshwar, GS, NFTE BSNL, met the Director (HR) and briefed him on today's discussions took place in the Wage Revision Committee meeting and sought his help for the early settlement of Wage Revision. The Director (HR) agreed that, the Wage Revision agreement should be signed without further delay and assured to extend his help in this regard.
