Corporate Office releases funds for part payment of wages to contract workers.

Contract workers throughout the country are not paid wages for the past 4 months. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Shri S.K. Gupta, Director(Finance), and discussed this issue seriously. The GS demanded that at least a part of the outstanding wages should be paid immediately, to save the families of the contract workers from starvation. The Director(Finance) assured to do the needful. Today, Shri P.C. Bhatt, Sr.GM, CBB (Corporate Budget & Banking) told the General Secretary that the Corporate Office has released funds, equivalent to one third of the outstanding wages, to all the circles, for the payment of wages to contract workers.
