Corporate Office issues instructions for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

The BSNL Corporate Office has issued instructions for the treatment of the COVID-19 patients. The salient features are as follows.

1. The requirement that the Designated Officer should visit the patient under indoor treatment, is waived. This applies to all deceases.
2. The Covid patients can avail treatment in non-empanelled hospitals. The amount will be restricted to CGHS rates.
3. Charges for tele-consultation with doctors will be reimbursed.
4. Charges for RTPCR/Rapid Antigen Test will be reimbursed. Rates prescribed by the Statement Government shall be applicable.  

The above instructions are valid from 01.04.2021 and up to 30.09.2021.
