The Regional Labour Commissioner (Central) conducted a conciliation today, in connection with the Indefinite Strike that was to start from 03.12.2018. Representatives of the DoT and BSNL were present. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, BSNLEU, Com.Chandeshwar Singh, GS, NFTE, Com. Swapan Chakraborty, Dy.GS, BSNLEU, Com.Rasheed Khan, AGS, TEPU, Com. Rewati Prasad, AGS, BSNL ATM, Com.Kabeer Das & Com.H.P. Singh, BSNL OA represented the unions and associations. An action taken report was submitted by the Director (SR), DoT, on the demands of the AUAB. It observed that the DoT has not taken any substantial step to settle the important issues of 3^rd Pay Revision, Allotment of 4G spectrum, Payment of Pension Contribution on actual basic pay, etc. The representatives of the AUAB stated that there would be industrial unrest if the issues are not settled expeditiously.
