Compassionate Ground Appointment to the wife of Com.C.Pandu Ranga Rao, TT, Ananthapur, who died in accident while on duty - BSNLEU writes letter to the Director (HR).

Com.C.Pandu Ranga Rao, TT, Ananthapur got electrocuted while attending to a cable fault and has tragically passed away on 10-10-2020. The death of the official occurred while he was on duty. Hence, the CGM, Andhra Pradesh, has recommended Compassionate Ground Appointment to the wife of late Shri C.Pandu Ranga Rao, TT. Corporate Office letter dated 05-02-2016 categorically states that, in case of death due to accident while performing duty, the dependent of the diseased official should be directly given Compassionate Ground Appointment, ignoring the weightage points. However, the corporate office so far has not taken any action for granting compassionate ground appointment. Hence,  BSNLEU has written letter to the Director(HR) today, requesting to consider compassionate ground appointment to the wife Com.C.Pandu Ranga Rao, TT, Ananthapur.
