CMD BSNL calls meeting to brief the unions and associations on the merger of MTNL with BSNL..

On 21.02.2023, the Joint Forum of Non-Executive Unions and Associations of BSNL has written a detailed letter to the Secretary, Telecom and the CMD BSNL. In that letter, the Joint Forum has seriously complained that the employees, who are an important stakeholders of the Company, are being kept in total darkness with regards to the merger of MTNL with BSNL. The Joint Forum has also raised 3 important demands, which should be fulfilled before the proposed merger. Under these circumstances, the Corporate Office has issued letter yesterday informing that, the CMD BSNL would meet the unions and associations of BSNL on 28.02.2023 to discuss about developmental issues, including the merger of MTNL with BSNL. BSNLEU has been requested to attend the meeting with 2 or 3 representatives.
