Central Trade Unions extend their support to the Wrestlers fighting against sexual exploitation.

The Joint Platform of Central Trade Unions, consisting of all the Central Trade Unions except BMS, has extended it’s whole heart support to the young women wrestlers who are fighting against sexual exploitation of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, Chairman of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI). In a statement issued yesterday the 08th May, 2023, the Central Trade Unions have demanded the immediate arrest of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and also conducting of a thorough investigation on the allegations. It is noteworthy that, BSNLEU had already conducted countrywide demonstrations on 27.01.2023, extending support to the young women wrestlers fighting against sexual exploitation and demanding the arrest of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, Chairman of the WFI.
