BSNLEU writes to the Secretary, Telecom, demanding to issue Presidential Orders to all the employees recruited and sent for training by the DoT, but were appointed by BSNL.

BSNLEU is continuously demanding that, the employees who were recruited and sent for training by the DoT, but were appointed by BSNL, should be issued with Presidential Order and should be made eligible for Government Pension. This case is lying pending in the Supreme Court. In the meanwhile, based on a letter issued by the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare on 03^rd March, 2023, which has been endorsed by the DoT, BSNLEU has written a very detailed letter to the Secretary, Telecom, demanding to issue Presidential Orders to all the employees recruited and sent for training by the DoT, but were appointed by BSNL, on the analogy of the DoP&PW’s letter.
