BSNLEU seeks modification to the "Policy on outsourcing model for maintenance and provisioning of landline and broadband for external plant of copper network".

The BSNL has Corporate Office has already issued letter on the "Policy on outsourcing model for maintenance and provisioning of landline and broadband for external plant of copper network". It is stated in that policy that the works of Testing / jumpering at the MDF for fault repair, pair change, new LL/BB connections, would be done by the outside agency. BSNLEU has written to the CMD BSNL, opposing this. BSNLEU has stated that this work should be done by our own TTs and ATTs, or else it will lead to manipulation by the outside agency.
