BSNLEU's letter, written to the CMD BSNL on 30-12-2024, opposing second VRS in BSNL, has become a sensational news in the national media in our country. Most of the mainstream English newspapers wrote prominent articles, giving wide coverage to BSNLEU's letter opposing second VRS. Newspapers like The New Indian Express, Business Line, The Economic Times (Telecom) Financial Express have given wide coverage to BSNLEU's letter, and have discussed BSNLEU's views exhaustively. Apart from this, many regional newspapers like Deshabhimani(Malayalam), Dinamani(Tamil) have also written articles echoing BSNLEU's views, opposing second VRS. We can say, India's national media has agreed with the views that the flawed policies of the government, clubbed with managerial inefficiency are the root cause for the present problems of BSNL.
