BSNL Working Women's Coordination Committee successfully holds it's first meeting at New Delhi.

BSNL 'Working Women's Coordination Committee', a sub-committee of BSNLEU, was formed in the women's convention, held at Hyderabad on 8th July, 2017. The first meeting of this Committee was held at New Delhi yesterday the 05-11-2017. The CHQ of BSNLEU has made the arrangements for the meeting.12 Committee members, out of 17, attended the meeting. Com.Sunithi Chowdhari, Organising Secretary (CHQ), presided over the meeting. Com.P.Indira, convenor of the Committee, welcomed all and presented the note for discussion. Com.P.Abhimanyu,GS,BSNLEU, addressed the meeting and explained the decisions of the Central Executive Committee meeting of BSNLEU, with regards to the functions and responsibilities of the BSNL WWCC. He also explained in detail about the wage revision and Subsidiary Tower Company issues and also about the decisions of the "All Unions and Associations of BSNL" to go on struggles. All the Committee members participated in the discussion. Com.Balbir Singh, President, com.Swapan Chakraborty,Dy.GS and senior leader of the Union and circle secretary of Telengana, com.Sampath Rao, greeted the meeting. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, spoke on the wage revision and Subsidiary Tower Company issues, as well as about the struggles decided upon by the "All Unions and Associations of BSNL", on these issues. Com.P.Indira, Convenor, summed up the discussions and explained about the future functioning of the Committee. The Committee has decided to conduct a powerful campaign among the women employees, to successfully organise the 2 day strike on 12^th and 13^th of December. The Committee has also given important suggestions to the CHQ of BSNLEU, with regards to the problems of the women employees. Com.D.A.Shylla, NE I circle, proposed vote of thanks.
