BSNL Management amends CDA Rules to retire employees on completion of 50/55 years of age or on completion of 30 years of service.

The BSNL Management has amended the CDA rules and has incorporated the provision to retire the employees on the attainment of 50/55 years of age, or on completion of 30 years of service, by giving 3 months' notice or by paying 3 months' salary. 

BSNLEU vehemently opposes this Rule and demands it's withdrawal. This rule is a part of the draconian provision implemented by the British rulers. The Modi government is vigorously implementing this rule. The Central Trade Unions have demanded that this Rule should be abolished and it is included as one of the demands for the General Strike, to be held on 26.11.2020.
