BSNL makes turn around - earns net profit in the 4th quarter also..

It is a good news for all BSNL employees that the Company has once again become profit making after 15 long years. BSNL has earned a net profit of Rs.280 crore in the 4^th quarter. Earlier, the Company had earned a net profit of Rs.262 crore in the 3^rd quarter of the financial year. In a letter issued by Shri A. Robert J. Ravi, CMD BSNL, it is stated that, the total income of BSNL stood at Rs.23,427 crore and the loss of the Company has been cut down by 58%. 27 circles have earned EBITDA while 10 circles have earned net profit, reported the CMD BSNL. It is also stated that, a record Rs.26,000 crore worth of equipments and spectrum have been added on the books of BSNL. Had BSNL been able to provide good quality 4G service to the customers, the net profit of the Company would have substantially increased.
