BSNL is losing sizeable mobile customers due to poor network - reports the New Indian Express..
The New Indian Express has reported that, BSNL has lost 8.7 lakh customers in November, 2024, as per the TRAI report. The newspaper reports that, this is the biggest loss for BSNL since the private telecom companies raised their tariffs up to 25% in July 2024. Before the tariff increase by the private companies, BSNL was losing it’s customers heavily every month. But, after the tariff increase, BSNL started gaining customers. 21 lakh new customers came to BSNL in August, 2024, 11 lakh customers in September and 7 lakh customers in October, 2024. But, thereafter, BSNL has started losing customers heavily due to their dissatisfaction with BSNL's network. As per the TRAI report, Airtel has gained 19 lakh customers in October, 2024, but, Jio has lost 37 lakh customers.
