BSNL has surpassed Airtel in giving new mobile connections in the month of August, 2025.
BSNL has added 14 lakh new mobile connections in August, 2025. Whereas, Airtel has given only 5 lakh new mobile connections in the same month. However, Reliance Jio leads the race, by giving 19 lakh new mobile connections in August, 2025. Media reports say that BSNL has made this achievement with it’s cheaper plans and also expanded 4G coverage.
