AUAB meets Director (HR) on IDA issue without any result – AUAB issues notice to Secretary, DoT, to intensify the struggle.

After conducting a successful demonstration, the AUAB leaders met Dr. Kalyan Sagar Nippani, Director (HR), BSNL, regarding the payment of IDA arrears along with the salary for this month. However, no positive assurance was received from the Director (HR). In view of this, the AUAB has issued a notice to the Secretary, DoT, to intensify the struggle. The AUAB has already decided to launch the next phase of programmes, such as wearing black badges, conducting a Twitter campaign, submitting memoranda to DoT, organising protest chains, etc., which are likely to commence from 23^rd April 2026. All CEC members are requested to make full preparations in consultation with the AUAB leadership in their respective circles so that adequate pressure can be exerted on DoT for the immediate release of IDA arrears.
