Assam circle successfully organises it's executive committee meeting at Guwahati.

Assam Circle union successfully held it's executive committee meeting at Guwahati on 14-11-2019. Com Gakul Borah, Circle President, presided and Com Bijoy Deka, Circle Secretary presented the report of activities. Com Animesh Mitra, President, BSNLEU and Com Gakul Borah, Treasurer(CHQ), reported on the decisions of the Ghaziabad CEC. BSNL's Revival package, VRS, All India General Strike on 8^th of January 2020 against Govt's anti-PSU, anti- worker and anti-people policies. Both the leaders expressed their concern over the mass scale options being given by the employees and explained about the negative aspects of VRS in detail, especially to the non executive employees. Com. Saheb Singh, CS, NE-II circle, also addressed the meeting. All the District Secretaries participated in the discussion. Com. Saheb Singh, CS, NE II circle, Patrons Com. M.R.Das, Com Sankar Kumar Das, Com Navendu Deb greeted. In the end, one Resolution against VRS was unanimously adopted.
