3 day strike against the privatisation of Coal mines – BSNLEU supports the strike and expresses solidarity with the fighting Federations and Unions.

The Narendra Modi government has taken decision to allow 100% FDI in the Coal Sector. Based on this, the government has allowed Coal mining by multinational companies and Indian corporates. This is nothing, but reversing the nationalisation of Coal mines done in the 1970s. Protesting the attempts of the government to handover the entire Coal mines to the looting by multinational companies and Indian corporates, all the Federations and Unions in the Coal Industry are going on a 3 day strike from 2^nd to 4^th July, 2020. BSNLEU supports this strike and expresses it’s solidarity with the fighting Federations and Unions of the Coal Industry. BSNLEU demands the government to reverse it’s policy of privatising the Coal mines.
