Results of JE LICE is a crude joke on employees - BSNLEU demands relaxation.

The results of the JE LICE has been declared. The results are very poor. The questions have been so tough that in AP Circle, against 493 vacancies, only 6 candidates have passed. In the Telangana Circle, against 491 vacancies, only 5 candidates have passed. It is learnt that no one has passed the exam in some circles. Conducting such an exam, with questions of very high standard, is nothing but a crude joke on the employees, who have been aspiring to pass this exam. BSNLEU has demanded relaxation for the candidates, as it has been done in the case of DR TTA exam held in 2008.

BSNLEU demands to hold the JTO LICE, JAO LICE, JE LICE and TT LICE, on basis of the vacancies existed as on 31.01.2020,i.e., prior to the implementation of the VRS.

The JTO LICE, JAO LICE, JE LICE and TT LICE have not been held, on regular basis, during the past so many years. Now, as per VRS orders, all the 79,000 posts of the VRS retirees are going to be abolished w.e.f. 01.02.2020. This will jeopardise the post-based promotions of the Non-Executives in a big way. Hence, BSNLEU has written to the CMD BSNL demanding that the Management should immediately take steps to hold the JTO LICE, JAO LICE, JE LICE and TT LICE, based on the vacancies existed as on 31.01.2020.

BSNLEU writes to the Director(HR), against the harassment of the District Secretary of BSNLEU, Amritsar.

Com. Sarabjit Singh, district secretary of BSNLEU, Amritsar, is issued with two charge sheets, years ago. The charge sheets are issued for his fighting against the misuse of official vehicles, and for fighting against the pick and choose transfer orders, issued by the GM, Amritsar, in violation of the Corporate Office Transfer Policy. The Amritsar district administration is dragging on the disciplinary proceedings for years together, which is a violation of rules. This is a way of harassing the union functionaries. CHQ has written to the Director (HR), seeking her intervention, for an early conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings.

Disburse October, 2019 salary immediately - BSNLEU writes to CMD BSNL.

It is already 04th of November and disbursement of October, 2019, salary is not made. It seems Management is complacent that, the salary for September, 2019, was disbursed only two weeks back and there is no urgency to disburse the October salary immediately. Repeated media reports that, salary disbursement of BSNL employees is not taking place on time, is damaging the image of BSNL and is sending a wrong message to the market. BSNLEU has written to the CMD BSNL demanding immediate disbursement of salary for the month of October, 2019.

Do not shift the head quarters of CGM Core Network Tx-South – retain it at Chennai itself – BSNLEU strongly writes to the CMD BSNL.

The Corporate Office has issued letter for the merger of the non-territorial project and maintenance circles. Accordingly, STP and STR circles are merged and it is named as CGM Core Network Tx-South. When the well established CGM offices of both STR and STP are functioning in Chennai for many decades, surprisingly the head quarters of CGM Core Network Tx-South is shifted to Bengaluru. After merger, the head quarters of CGM Core Network Tx-East, CGM Core Network Tx-West and CGM Core Network Tx-North are retained in the existing places, viz., Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi, respectively. However, the head quarters of CGM Core Network Tx-South alone is shifted to Bengaluru. BSNLEU has strongly written to the CMD BSNL, demanding the retention of the head quarters of CGM Core Network Tx-South at Chennai itself.

BSNLEU writes to the CMD BSNL, demanding withdrawal of the decision to postpone the date of payment of salaries of the Non-Executives.

BSNLEU has written to the CMD BSNL, demanding the withdrawal of the Corporate Office letter, which has postponed the date of salary payment of the Non-Executives. BSNLEU has objected that, this decision had been taken unilaterally, without consulting the Recognised Unions. Further, BSNLEU has pointed out that, in the name of improving financial position of the Company, only facilities of the lower level employees are being withdrawn, whereas none of the facilities being enjoyed by the top officers of the Company is withdrawn. The Management has also not taken any concrete step, for the curtailment of wasteful expenditures, based on the letters given by unions and associations.
